It is a privilege to have joined CapTrust in April of 2011, and it is an honor to work with this caring and high-integrity team. With nine years of operational and financial experience from a local automotive manufacturer, I look forward to leveraging these multi-disciplinary skills in this industry. Investing and being good stewards of our financial resources has always been a passion of mine, but most of all, I’m looking forward to developing meaningful relationships with the clients we are privileged to serve.
After graduating from Calvin College in 2002, we knew that west Michigan was a great place to live and the right place for us. My best friend for life, Julie, and I are looking forward to these meaningful years of growing our young family. My girls are special, and it is easy to make them the most important people in my life.
One of my favorite things to do is see what God is doing around the world and join in on the fun. Several years ago, we were encouraged to lead a trip to Belize, and we continue to develop relationships with kids, families, churches, and community leaders to help transform that community. Recently I had the chance to visit a water-well drilling operation Nigeria. I have never seen more opportunity to provide for people’s basic need for physical and spiritual water.
During the warmer times of the year, I enjoy softball, golf, and all the great things that summer in West Michigan offers. I am also proud to admit that I am a hobby beekeeper. The honey is delicious.
