Before joining the CapTrust team, I was a professional chess player and teacher travelling as far as Berlin, Germany to play in tournaments. During that time I began to study the marketplace in order to help my parents with their investment strategy. The process was so engaging that it ultimately led me to change my career from chess to investment consulting.
In the summer of 2009, Jessica and I married, packed and moved to Holland. I was blessed to connect with the CapTrust team so quickly after the move and I joined the team in January 2010. I am most satisfied, when I can put pieces of a puzzle together in a way that makes an ordinary picture become extraordinary.
I enjoy playing most sports, but especially soccer and basketball. I love to hike, boat, and fish in the summer, and ski in the winter. When I’m not being active, I read whatever I can get my hands on.
