Jason L. Kooyer, CIPM { Sr. Performance Analyst }

After serving families as a caseworker and program director for two local non-profits for a few years, I joined the CapTrust team in 2000. CapTrust has a deep commitment to carefully monitoring the portfolios of our clients, and my role is to evaluate and present the various characteristics of these portfolios for advisors and clients. As a certificate holder and member of the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement Association, it is my desire to provide the highest level of portfolio analysis and client reporting possible. I also oversee the development and implementation of the portfolio management systems of CapTrust and work with our dedicated team and affiliates to ensure consistent and efficient execution of client strategies.

My life outside the office is filled with joy, literally. My wife Joy is a local third grade teacher, and we spend as much time as possible with our two young children—Julia and Harrison. As a family we enjoy swimming in the pool, reading children’s books, and participating in the activities of our church. We love to travel when given the opportunity, and the kids have grown used to long rides in the car and trips to the airport. Our favorite points of interest are lighthouses, baseball parks, zoos, and stage theaters.
